The WealthManager integrates data from multiple disparate systems across the enterprise. Gateway is a robust, scalable set of interfaces for mapping data, trapping and managing inbound data problems and, exporting data to other systems. Gateway is the ECTL (Extract, Clean, Transform, Load) module of the WealthManager.
Incoming data must pass rigorous quality checks before Gateway allows them into the production tables. Items that are rejected are held in suspension and can be viewed and corrected before an advisor or client sees them. Clean data is vital to ensure user confidence and user confidence is vital to ensure that the system is accepted and becomes a vital tool for the advisors.

Our customers have diverse needs regarding how financial data is collected and consolidated into WealthManager’s relationship-centric model. Gateway provides a wide array of integration options for this fundamental task … from real-time web services to high-speed adaptors and from pre-calculated data to raw transaction data in terms of content. For instance, performance data can be calculated by the WealthManager based on transactions or market values and cash flows, or pre-calculated performance data can be loaded into the WealthManager at the account or consolidated account level.
LEGAL ENTITY MATCHINGContact and organization data are always checked for duplicates whether the data is via a user or an interface. This is a key aspect of converting incoming account-centric data to WealthManager’s relationship-centric model. Proven matching logic calculates the probability of one or more matches with the new data, alerts are sent to the appropriate users, and tools are provided to do an intelligent merge that keeps the best elements of the multiple versions of the data.
