Within the space of two weeks Odyssey Asset Management Systems has succeeded in securing its first two major contracts in North America, thereby directly entered a market which was previously missing from the company's global coverage.
One of the largest US banks, as well as one market-leading wealth manager in Canada have chosen Odyssey solutions to meet their investment management requirements. The banks went through extensive system evaluations to choose the best-of-breed solution towards achieving ambitious long-term plans. Odyssey was the only international provider in the race. and the breadth and depth in the functions provided, combined with the company's implementation track record and references with large investment management organisations left the banks with only one choice.
For Odyssey the signings signal the breakthrough into the North American market. Its already established commercial office in New York will now grow to be a full-service Odyssey location with a local Help Desk and support consultants dedicated exclusively to North American clients. Staff are being recruited locally and trained by Odyssey's experts.
