On the 9th and 10th September 2003, Odyssey had the pleasure of welcoming professionals from financial institutions worldwide to its 4th Annual Conference at the Beau-Rivage Palace in Lausanne, Switzerland.
As the years before it was a very successful financial event attended by 95 representatives from 37 financial institutions, 20 consultancy companies and keynote speakers from HVB Group, Anglo Irish Bank, ING Belgium, IBM and Accenture.
During the mornings delegates attended plenary sessions held by some of Odyssey’s customers, including testimonials by the HVB Group and Anglo Irish Bank, as well as by Odyssey partners. Odysseys new relationship management solution Advisor, was launched at the conference, and the audience was introduced to new solutions for Portfolio Risk and Decision Support, and to the Nexus market data warehousing solution.
During the afternoons workshops covered the new and existing business solutions, including case studies of Triple'A implementations and the business benefits realised. A permanent exhibition area gave detailed information and on-line demos of Odyssey’s solutions and services.
The informative and familiar atmosphere during the two days of the conference encouraged customers and partners to engage in enriching discussions that fed trends and ideas back into the ongoing evolution process of Odyssey’s business solutions.
Formal feedback forms received from delegates proved that the conference had fully met expectations and was seen to have been a great success. Odyssey will soon be announcing the dates and venue for its 2004 Annual Conference.
