Executive Vice President & CFO
After graduating in Commerce from Birmingham University, Charlie Barrass joined the Bank of England in 1970 as an economic analyst in the Bank's Overseas Department. He later transferred to the Management Services Department where he began his career in information technology as an analyst and, later, a team leader. From 1977 to 1992, he worked at BIS Banking Systems. At BIS, he started as a Project Manager and progressed to a number of senior management positions including Asia Pacific Regional Manager, European Regional Manager, Operations Director and, from 1990 to 1992, Managing Director. Charlie joined Watkins & Associates as Managing Director in 1993. In 1995, he co-founded Flexible Management Systems where he was an Executive Director.
In January 2000, Charlie joined Odyssey Asset Management Systems and opened Odyssey's London Branch. He is now Odyssey's Executive Vice President & CFO.
