Antoine Duchateau started his career with IBM Belgium. In 1981, he moved to BIS Banking Systems, where he built the Continental Europe distribution operation for the MIDAS wholesale banking system. Following this, Antoine was promoted to the role of Operations / Deputy Managing Director, where he was in charge of the company's world-wide distribution network.
Having perceived an unfilled niche in the Investment Management market, in 1994 Antoine left BIS to create Odyssey. He is now Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Odyssey.
Antoine Duchateau graduated from the Solvay University of Brussels with a Masters in Economics in 1977.
